By creating an account or using Ask Bella™ you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. You must be at least 18 years old.

What the service is

Ask Bella provides dementia caregiver education and coaching based on the Bella Cares Dignity-First™ Care Method. Responses in Ask Bella are generated by artificial intelligence trained on Bella Cares principles.

It is not a medical device, not a healthcare provider, and not a substitute for professional medical, nursing, legal, or financial advice.

HIPAA and health data

Ask Bella is not a covered entity or business associate under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). No HIPAA business associate agreement is created by using this service.

The service is designed for caregiver education and coaching, not for the storage or processing of protected health information (PHI). You agree not to use the service to store, transmit, or process PHI or other regulated health data that would require HIPAA compliance, unless you have independently determined that the platform's safeguards meet your legal requirements.

You are responsible for ensuring that any information you enter complies with applicable privacy laws and that you have the right to record and share it.

Your account

Keep your login credentials confidential and let us know promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Acceptable use

Please do not use the service to harm anyone, to upload unlawful content, to attempt to breach security or access other people's data, to scrape or resell the content, or to present its output as licensed clinical advice.

Do not enter information about another person that you do not have a reasonable basis to record and share.

Your content

You keep ownership of the care plans, notes, and messages you enter. You grant us permission to store and process that content solely to operate the service for you, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Our content

The Ask Bella™ and Bella Cares Dignity-First™ Care Method names, curriculum, and materials belong to Gayon Buchanan and Bella Cares. You may use them for your personal caregiving or, if applicable, within your own care setting; you may not republish, resell, or train competing products on them.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may change, and we may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

No warranty and limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bella Cares is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for care decisions made based on guidance from the service.
